Winter in the Ski Area San Pellegrino keeps getting whiter. The latest snowfall last Monday left up to 1 metre of snow on the summit of Col Margherita (2514 m) and about 50 cm of snow in the valley, giving an important prize to the ski resort that winds between Falcade and Passo San Pellegrino: the snowiest ski slopes in the Dolomiti Superski consortium!
All the lifts are already open and you can ski on 45 km of slopes for any level of experience, between fabulous scenery and gourmet lodges. It’s the perfect setting for ski fans who want to enjoy the magic of the snow and perfect runs. Take advantage of a low priced, pre-season ticket, up to and including December 23rd; the weather forecast is calling for sun and nice weather over the weekend and all next week!
TOP 3 – THE RUNS NOT TO BE MISSED
La VolatA – This is the only slope in Val di Fassa certified by Fisi and Fis to host national and international downhill free ride and giant slalom races. The run descends along the steeper side of the Col Margherita and is 2400 m long, with an altitude difference of 630 m and walls with gradients that come close to 50%.
Monzoni – this splendid red slope located in the Costabella area stands out for its average width of 51 metres and continuous gradient changes in the final part of the run.
Le Coste – this run is famous for its numerous gradient changes and because it has hosted important sports events like the Universiadi games and the Absolute Italian Championships.
