The moment all ski enthusiasts have been waiting for is finally here! On Friday, December 7th, the 2018/2019 winter season will finally get underway in the Ski Area San Pellegrino, which spans the Val di Fassa and the Province of Belluno in the heart of the Dolomiti Superski conglomerate.
Over the long weekend of the Immacolata you can ski on the slopes in Passo San Pellegrino and Falcade. 10 lift facilities will be up and running, including the Col Margherita cable car lift and the Falcade-Le Buse cabin lift, which connect the two resorts in the ski area. There are also 2 ski school slopes and plenty of lodges where you can stop for a delicious break between runs.
And now skiers can make the most of the latest trend, the Lusia-Sanpe App, a modern and appealing app that can be downloaded for free from the Google Play and App Store. With the most advanced Skitude technology, this app provides information on the resort and its slopes, with weather updates and live webcam images in the palm of your hand. It can also record information regarding the number of descents, speeds and altitudes as well as options for personalized statistics so you can review your performance and geolocate your friends. These useful and fun functions make skiing even more intense and enjoyable!
And when it comes to events, the first big date not to be missed is “Masters Day” on Friday, 21st and Saturday 22nd of December. For two days you can test out Nordica equipment and accessories with special guest and exceptional trainer, Slovenian ex-Alpine skier Jure Košir, the technical trial specialist and winner of an Olympic medal and three World Cup races.
You can go online to find more information and details of slope and lift openings.
