The tour starts from Molino, at the lower station of the Molino–Le Buse cable car. This, together with the subsequent Le Buse–Laresei chairlift, takes you up to an altitude of 2,203 metres, the starting point of the route.
From here, take a downhill forest track leading to the “Laresei” Mountain Hut and then on to Valles Pass. Continue to the right along the tarmac road until you reach the junction for “Venegia” Valley, where you turn left to continue along a gravel track until you reach “Baita Segantini” Mountain Hut. After crossing the pass, the route continues towards “Malga Juribello” Mountain Hut and, after a short technical section on a dirt track, returns to the Valles Pass junction. From here, turn right onto the tarmac road to return to the pass.
There are two options for the descent: an easier route along the tarmac road, or a decidedly more scenic and enjoyable – though also more challenging – alternative, which follows footpaths and forest tracks.
If you choose the latter, at the end of the Valles Pass car park, take a path on the right – which is initially very technical – leading to Malga “Valles Basso” Mountain Hut. Continue along a dirt track to “Caverson”, passing the Hotel Dolomiti on your left. The final part of the tour follows a path and the ski run, which lead directly back to Molino, to the ski lift departure station.
The route follows mixed-use trails that are also frequented by hikers. It is therefore recommended to maintain a moderate speed and always be mindful of other trail users.
