After the Col Margherita cable car lift opened early last weekend, especially for the event marking the inauguration of the new black slope called La VolatA, the ski season in the San Pellegrino ski area will officially kick off on Saturday, December 3.
The season is bound to get off to a great start, considering there will be no less than 9 lifts operating (the Costabella chairlift, the Chiesetta ski lift, Gigante chairlift, the Col Margherita cable car lift, the Del Passo chairlift, the Lago Cavia-Col Margherita chairlift, the Lago Cavia-Laresei chairlift, the Falcade-Le Buse cabin lift and the Le Buse-Laresei chairlift). The connection between Falcade and Passo San Pellegrino will also be open.
Thanks to the excellent job performed by the snow cannon and snow cat operators, now you can ski on 30 km of slopes that can satisfy skiers of all levels, from beginners, who prefer gentler inclines, to more experienced skiers, who can sharpen their skills on more challenging slopes like the new La VolatA. Ski passes are available at pre-season prices.
Accommodations, equipment rentals and lodges in the ski area will also be opening this weekend.
