Reachable in a few minutes by the Col Margherita cable car and barrier-free, the large windows of this refuge allow one to admire one of the most fascinating views in the Alps. Not to be missed throughout the summer season is the Peak-Nic, a hamper for al fresco dining at the summit with a first course, a main course and a dessert created to savour the pleasure of Alfio Ghezzi’s cuisine, while relaxing on a soft blanket on the highest point of Col Margherita.
